Building a Tribe

A movement has begun. And you are part of it. Why? What is it that unites us? What’s coming out of this movement?

Whether you are Brazilian or not, you may have heard about - or experienced -  the feeling of saudade. It is that sentiment of longing and nostalgia that often hits both Brazilians who live abroad, and non-Brazilians who love the country and its culture. Even people who have never been to Brazil often say they feel their own "anticipated" type of saudade :) This feeling is one thread that unites us and makes us all part of the same tribe!

But that’s not all. If you’ve ever been to a roda de samba (samba circle) or to the Brazilian Carnaval; witnessed a sunset at Ipanema beach; screamed your lungs out during a soccer game at a Brazilian stadium; dropped your jaw at the architecture of Oscar Niemeyer or the art of Vik Muniz; devoured an açaí bowl; practiced capoeira or Brazilian jiu-jitsu; savored a brigadeiro; cheered for Brazil’s national team; or you simply enjoy or is intrigued by the country’s colors, music, liveliness, or culture… Well, you’re part of the tribe too!

Sambatribe is for all of us who relate to Brazil, in one way or another, and want to represent it with style and pride. Our commitment is to offer quality products with artsy designs, which capture the soul of Brazilian culture and lifestyle. Our products were crafted based on feedback from people who love Brazil and have always craved ways to represent it in an authentic, unique fashion. People like yourself have made this possible through great input and fruitful conversations.

We want to continue to hear from you! You are part of the tribe and your feedback is always appreciated. Please let us know how we are doing and if you have any suggestions for us. Leave your comments below :)
