We are a brand focused on creating quality products that capture the soul of Brazilian lifestyle. We offer our tribers the chance to represent Brazil with style and pride, wherever they are. Read more about us here.
Samba is a Brazilian dance and music style with its origins in Africa. It is at the core of Brazilian culture and way of life. Tribe, in turn, represents the community aspect of our brand. We all relate to Brazil in one way or another and our connection to the country, whatever it is, unite us. Read more here.
Our HQ is in the outskirts of Washington, DC, and our production and fulfillment take place in California. Our designs come straight from the samba circles of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, where our chief designer Rafael Doria lives.
We suggest machine or hand wash cold. Since all our shirts and hoodies are mostly cotton (in fact 100% cotton in most cases), like all cotton apparel, they will tend to shrink a bit after being washed and dried. To minimize the shrinking, machine dry low or hang dry.
So we can focus on creating awesome designs, we don’t do our own manufacturing. We outsource that to those who do it best, including awesome manufacturers and fulfillment services across the US. We only work with top companies like American Apparel and Printful.
Most of them. From major credit cards such as Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover, to Amazon Payments, Apple Pay and PayPal. Our website is both PayPal and Shopify verified, so you are safe with us.
Our default shipping is via USPS, but you may also choose FedEx. Please allow 2-4 business days for orders to be processed after your purchase is complete. You will see estimated shipping days for all options at checkout.
For the most part we sell directly to our customers through our website, although we also sell through select partnerships on a case-by-case basis. While we haven’t done wholesale yet, we are certainly open to that. We do however want to make sure that Sambatribe is a good fit for the brands we work with and that our products are represented well. If you would like to discuss, please contact us with information about your business.
Our chief and only designer right now is Rafael Doria. However, we are open to new talent and expanding our team. The requirement of course is that your work (not you necessarily) also carries a Brazilian accent and fits our aesthetics like a glove ;) If it does, feel free to reach out.
